When your place is on the actual trail map, you know it's in a great location.
Stay at San Moritz for the easiest access to the entire mountain! Enjoy immediate access to all the mountain has to offer.

Leave the driving to San Moritz and take advantage of the complementary and private San Moritz car service.
Car service is limited to locations in Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. In the winter the car runs 7 days a week from 9am to midnight. In the summer the service is limited to Fridays and Saturdays between 4pm - Midnight.

Booking direct can save you hundreds, maybe even millions. Spend all that extra money you save on fondue!
We list our condos on all the major travel sites and each one charges you a fee. We love it when our guests book direct on this website because we know the amazing time you're gonna have and without all those extra site fees.

Yes. In winter and spring you can ski or ride directly down to the West Wall Lift, then access the rest of the mountain or return home whenever you’re ready. In summer and fall, the San Moritz trailhead is located right in the parking lot, just steps from your front door. From there you can hike or bike the entire mountain and easily reach the resort area.
Think of it as a private Lyft reserved exclusively for San Moritz guests and owners. Simply call the number and request a ride anywhere in Crested Butte or Mt. Crested Butte. In winter and spring the service runs daily from 8am to midnight. In summer (July 1 through Labor Day) it operates Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to midnight. Airport transfers and trips outside of Crested Butte are not included.
Yes, parking is always included with every stay. We recommend AWD or 4WD in winter because the roads can become snow-packed. Local snow removal crews do an excellent job, but Crested Butte often receives deep and prolonged snowfall. Having all-wheel drive makes navigating the mountain roads safer and easier.
Yes, well-behaved dogs are always welcome. Cats and other critters will need to find alternate accommodations.
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Simply stop by the front office to pick up your check-in packet, which includes your parking pass and keys. From there, drive up to the upper parking lot—you’ll be just a few steps from your front door. Check-out is straightforward: gather your belongings, pack the car, and return the keys and parking pass to the front office or dropbox. No need to strip sheets or take out the trash.
Yes. San Moritz has four buildings, and each building has its own shared hot tub and sauna for the 12 units in that building. A reservation sheet is available so guests can claim a preferred time. Tip: reserve a good slot before heading out for the day.
The West Wall Lift is only about 590 feet downhill from the condo. The main resort area and Silver Queen Lift are approximately 1,850 feet away. Downtown Crested Butte is roughly 1.75 miles via the paved recreation path.
Yes—please do! Booking direct typically saves you 15% or more compared to Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com. Those platforms charge traveler fees that you can avoid entirely by booking on this site. Put that extra money toward fondue and pretzels instead.
A 50% deposit is due at the time of reservation, with the remaining balance due 7 days before arrival. If you need to cancel, 50% of payments made are refundable when canceled 21 or more days before arrival. Cancellations made after that point are non-refundable.
Not really. This is a studio-style unit with one king bed and an en-suite bathroom—think of it as a hotel room with a back porch and outstanding mountain views. It is limited to 2 adults and one or two very small children or infants (a pack-n-play is available).
Absolutely. The unit features two living areas, a bunk room with three sturdy adult-friendly bunk beds, and two separate bedrooms. The back porch is spacious with comfortable seating and excellent views, making it a great fit for families or groups.
Not in any practical sense. Each condo has its own dedicated porch area. While the porches are connected for fire egress, guests and owners respect one another’s space and movement between units on the porches simply doesn’t happen.
For couples who only need the basics and don’t plan on doing much cooking, the 1-bedroom is a great fit. If you’d like more space to spread out and plan to cook some meals, the 3-bedroom is the better choice. Both units are comfortable and offer excellent mountain access and views—it really just depends on your needs.
When possible, I’m happy to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. During busy periods in summer and winter, however, the condos are often booked back-to-back, which limits flexibility for the cleaning team. In those cases early or late requests may not be available.
